DESCRIPTION:«I, then, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to live in a manner worthy of the call you have received.» — Ephesians 4:1\nEach of us is searching for our own path and calling. In our world, many possibilities lie open to us: career woman, mother, activist, nun—and everything in between. Our life paths can look very diaerent. Our calling leads not only into the world, but also to God. He invites us to discover our talents so that we may serve Him and others, following in the footsteps of Jesus and helping to shape the Church.\nBut what are our talents? How can we put them to use? And how do we find our own place in the Church? To what does God call us women? In the Catholic Church, we women can hold a wide variety of roles. Some of these are full-time or ordained positions, while others are simply as members of the Church. However, some roles are reserved for men.\nIn the Her Circle, we want to get to the bottom of a wide range of questions: What opportunities do we have in the Church? Do we have to actively take on a role? What is the ideal image of a woman in the Church? Where do we see ourselves in the Church? Why can only men become priests? And how do we feel about all of this? Let’s discover our calling and engage in dialogue. Together, we can learn from one another, develop an understanding of diaerent approaches to faith, and rethink or reaairm our own life plans and opinions.\nAn evening of seeking, finding, and questioning. Come to Her Circle — just as you are.\n
