Midday Prayer

A brief respite in the daily routine. Listening together to God, the very Other, singing, praying, being silent.
People, most of whom work in the inner city, meet for a moment,
usually without much talk, remain passers-by,
come once and don’t come at other times,
and strengthen each other.
