Called by the Spirit– Do Women Listen Diaerently?

Our society often conveys the idea that women and men communicate diaerently, that they have diaerent expectations, speak diaerently, and understand things diaerently. Who hasn’t heard the many stories suggesting that what a woman says is supposedly never meant exactly as it’s said, but always contains a hidden message? Sometimes this feels like a fairy tale, an urban legend, and sometimes there are situations where it feels real, such as when, in a conversation, all the women understand a hint while the men remain baaled.

But is that true? Do women actually communicate diaerently, and above all, do they also understand diaerently? And if so, does that mean that the Holy Spirit speaks to us diaerently as well? Or do all people hear and sense the Holy Spirit in the same way?
